Beach Scenery, Eagle Cove

Classic beach scenery -- one of the largest, sandy beaches on the Island, reached via gravel path alongside a seasonal creek. Skim boarding, bocce ball, and swimming are popular activities here. Portable toilet in the parking area above the beach. Beaches are wonderful places in the summer, but all seasons are beautiful at the beach as long as you are warm enough! Check out the snow along the trail to the beach! This is another great intertidal zone, with a broad sandy beach flanked by rocky areas perfect for tidepools, home to sea anemones, sea stars, and so many other colorful creatures.
