Lummi Island Washington
Lummi Island Washington is just over 9 square miles with a year-round population of less than 1000 residents. A small Whatcom County ferry
services the island from Gooseberry Point on the mainland.
Gooseberry Point on Lummi Island
The island has a general store, two restaurants, several bed and breakfasts, a small library, a post office, a fire station, a church, a real estate office, a vintage 1919 elementary school, and a summer farmer's market. There are no RV parks, no state parks, and no campsites. There is, however, a famous trail to a lookout point with fantastic views of the San Juan and Gulf Islands.
