Beach Scenery, Deadman Bay

Deadman Bay on an early spring morning.

Deadman Bay beach scenery -- just around the corner from Lime Kiln Point State Park, -- a 1600-foot stretch of pebble beach, and a great place to watch the orcas. It's well-protected and quiet, set deep inside the coastline, with perfect rocky areas for looking at tidepools along the edges of the bay.

This beach is popular with kayakers as it has a gradual slope into the water. Many times I've seen a bunch of kayakers pull their boats up onto this beach for a lunch break in the middle of a day of paddling.

From here you can jump back to Beach Scenery to see more beaches, OR return to Simply San Juan.
