Heritage Farm is a sustainable Island farm providing WSDA certified grade A, raw milk dairy. Their Jersey cows are pastured year-round and milked by hand. Also offer pasture-raised pork, grass-fed beef, chickens and eggs, and vegetables year-round. Their Farm Stand is open every day from 8am - 8pm, with fresh eggs, frozen meats, vegetables and various other items. Find their meats and produce at the weekly Farmer's Market.
Visit their Farm CSA blog
to read about their daily comings and goings and what they're up to. From the blog,"Knowing what we do and how we do it around here is your best assurance that you get food that is grown with love, care, and our hearts and done responsibly. We farm with methods that show we understand the ecological web of life and the implications of our individual actions. We try to leave that little piece of the earth we call Farm in a better condition than how we find it each year, working with the natural forces and limitations of mother earth. We have integrity for this farm and we want you to see this in everything we do."
Tours offered, with an emphasis on a commitment to organic, sustainable, small family farm philosophy. Call for appointment.
